I just saw In The Land of Women -- a movie with Kristen Stewart. She was pretty in there with her blond hair and her performance was well done. Total recommend.

CatchingtheMoonlight's Fan Fiction

I loved New Moon, even when it made me cry -- every single time I read it. I was heartbroken when Edward left Bella. Although he loved her, he willed himself to leave her so that she would be safe. Edward was so self-sacrifing and unselfish that I found myself falling even more in love with him. It killed me, not knowing Edward's point of view when it came to his departure from Bella. Now I've found some relief! CatchingtheMoonlight wrote her version of Edward's PoV -- titled Empty Moon -- and it was amazing. As of today, there are only 2 chapters. I can't wait for more from her. I totally recommend this fan fiction. Be prepared to boo-hoo some more because I sure did, especially in chapter two when Edward is drowning in his own grief. Something's wrong with me, I'm always drawn to the angsty part of stories. :)

Alphie's Twilight Fan Fiction

I promised that I would never resort to fan fiction because I didn't believe in anything other than the stories from their original authors but found myself deprived of Edward's point of view from Midnight Sun. I wanted more of him and soon stumbled onto Alphie's version of Edward's PoV at fanfiction.net!

It's one of the best things I have ever done since Twilight had taken hold of my heart. I love Alphie's take on Edward's PoV of Twilight and was surprised to discover that Stephenie Meyer herself, had supported Alphie's story -- titled The Lion and The Lamb. Sadly, Alphie permanently ended her writing of her version, right after the meadow scene. I was relieved that I was able to indulge in this scene, my fave part from the Twilight book, before putting it on hiatus. I still recommend you read Alphie's work if you still haven't had enough of Edward from Midnight Sun. Hugs to Alphie for satisfying my hunger and for opening my heart up to fan fiction! Who knows, one of these days I might try to unleash my imagination. :)

New Moon Director & Icons

So it was recently reported that the Twilight franchise will have a new director, Chris Weitz, for New Moon.



What do I think about this? I think...now that Catherine Hardwicke is out of the way, maybe it'll be easier for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to fall for each other -- seeing as how Catherine Hardwicke is such great friends with Kristen's current boyfriend, Michael Angarano. I know, I know, it's unfair to Michael that most of us feel this way about Robert and Kristen. I mean, come on, you would have to be blind if you can't see the chemistry between these two. Kristen seems way more laid back and happy when she's with Robert. I wouldn't blame her, it would be the same for me if I were in her place too. Yikes, I can't believe I feel so strongly about RobSten that I'm wishing for Michael to disappear! Lolz...here are a few RobSten montages from people who are just as horrible as I am.

Sea Glass Eyes Banner

I saw this image of Robert's multi-colored eyes on Robsessed Pattison a few days back and have not stopped thinking about them! As if I weren't already Robsessed with him enough, he pulls off the 'sea glass eyes' trick and instantly mesmerizes me. I feel like he's truly right here with me, longing for me with those eyes, and I'm about to touch his face, feeling his scruff, drawing his lips to mine... Lolz, I'm letting my imagination run away with me again. Oh for the love of all things Robert!

In honor of Sabrina's perfect description of his dazzling sexy orbs and Robert's ease of stealing our breaths, I made a banner. Hrm, wonder if Dani & Goz will use this one?

I'm Just A Big, Hard Tool

The Little Ashes movie with Robert Pattinson starring as Salvador Dali, is due out in March. OMR, I can hardly wait! Here's the official trailer to the movie and some screencaps.

Third Twilight Review & Icons

Yesterday, I saw the Twilight movie for the 3rd time! This time with my nephew, Binnie, and my daughter, Mikayli. Argh, unfortunately for my child's overactive bladder -- she had to go to the restroom 4 times -- I missed my favorite scene, Edward and Bella's first kiss! If the husband weren't already annoyed that I've seen it one too many times, I would definitely go again just for that scene. Oh wells, I can always youtube it but it won't the same. Nothing's better than seeing it on that larger than life screen. Second best would be owning the DVD or BlueRay, but that won't happen until early April of 2009. :(

Bitten By Robert Pattinson & Twilight

Robert Pattinson, Sex Drive Premiere, 10/15/2008

I remember seeing Robert Pattinson as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films and found myself instantly drawn to his boyish good looks. But seeing as how I'm five years older than he is and the evident fact that he looked so young, I only allowed myself mild attraction for Rob. Even so, I continued watching HP Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix many times over and never found interest in the other HP movies. LOL.

Then it all changed in October of this year, that mild attraction turned into raw obsession when I found out that Robert Pattinson was cast as Edward Cullen in Twilight the movie. Knowing that it was inevitable that I would have to see this movie, I forced myself to pick up the book and have not put them down since. Robert's face jumped out of the pages when I visualized Edward. I couldn't help but hunger for more Twilight and RPattz. I found myself searching the internet for him and was taken by surprise at how mature he currently looked. He was oozing with smoldering, manly sex appeal. It was hard to deny his uncanny wit and charm with each of his movements. Everytime he touches his luscious, unkempt sex hair, it always manages to make my fingers itch. I want so much to run my fingers through it and feel the softness. That and his chest hair. Mmm. And scruffiness of his beard, I'll suffer chin rash any day to have his tempting lips on mine. The soothing lull of his voice and english accent are just as enticing. Not only that, he's a really talented actor! I've seen all of his work and he never fails to impress me with his performances. As if this weren't enough to make me melt, I soon discovered that he was a musician. OMR, I think I love you! LOL, nevermind that I'm already married with two kids. I can still dream, can't I?

He was absolutely amazing in Twilight as the brooding, reluctant vampire Edward Cullen. Not only had I fallen in love with that fictional character from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, Robert's portrayal of Edward turn my insides to mush. It's a fact that no one else could've conquered this role like Robert did. Now that Summit Entertainment has green-lighted the production of New Moon, I get to see more of Robert/Edward.

I've been bitten by Robert since that first day I laid eyes on his immaculate face in HP and I still can't seem to get enough of him to this day. Is my obsession for him stemmed from the fact that he's viciously unattainable, mysteriously beautiful or unbelievably multi-talented? All I know is that I didn't allow myself to swoon over him until recently, because he is now a man -- a sexy man at that. How is he able to exude so much masculinity and be only 22 years old? The more reason for me to search for updates of him. Teheh. He's my addiction and I don't feel the least bit guilty in my indulgence of him.

I Love Edward Cullen!

OMGawsh! I am now officially a fan of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. Thanks to everyone’s recommendation, I am now in love with Edward Cullen! I just finished the first novel, it took two nights. I haven’t slept much because I can’t put the book own. Now I’m anxious to read the next book in the series, New Moon. But that would mean less sleep. Oh wells, what’s a few nights of sleep deprivation when Edward is all I need? Sigh!

As for the Twilight movie? I can’t wait! Only 15 more days until the movie’s premiere on Nov. 21. I must confess, I didn’t want to read the book until I heard that it’s film adaptation was soon to come. While I was reading, images of gorgeous Robert Pattinson’s face swam through my mind — leaving me to believe he’s the perfect actor for this role. I know he wasn’t Stephenie’s first choice on looks but I’m sure Rob will live up to the role very well with his talented acting. Speaking of which, he’s currently waist deep in promoting the movie this month. I just might get a chance to see him!

Edward Cullen Alert!

Robert Pattinson, star of the movie Twilight, made an appearance on MTV’s TRL yesterday afternoon. Poor guy looked a bit overwhelmed and frightened by his throng of hyperventilating, female fans. I’d have to say, I hated that hideous-looking hat on his head. Why did he have to hide the sex hair?

Team Edward!

OME! I finished up Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and Midnight Sun in a matter of 6 days. Now I’m re-reading the whole series again. I especially loved Stephenie Meyer’s partial draft of Midnight Sun the most of all. This novel was based on Edward Cullen’s perspective of Twilight, as opposed to Bella Swan’s. Unfortunately, Stephenie has indefinitely halted the writing due to an illegal internet leak of the 12 chapters. I hope she completes and publishes this version in the near future because I can’t help but want more of Edward Cullen, Bella’s tortured and conflicted vampire love.

Oh wells, I’ll just have to do with Robert Pattinson’s take on Edward for now. Tehehe. Of course I’m going to love every minute of the movie! Only 5 more days to go. Who says a little dose of obsession isn’t healthy?

Twilight Hollywood Premiere

Thanks to HollywoodPremieres.com, I was granted a live broadcast of this evening’s Twilight movie premiere from the sanctuary of my own home. No need to Twi-Stalk in Los Angeles to get another satisfying dose of Robert “Edward Cullen” Pattinson and the rest of the Twilight cast. Besides, I can’t sacrifice enough free time — two days of camping out — in order to ensure a good spot. However, I am Twi-Hard enough for the midnight viewing of Twilight’s theatre release and I’ve preordered the tickets to prove it! Whoo, 3 days to go!

Twilight Movie Review

Kimmie and I went to Thursday’s midnight (12:01 a.m.) showing of Twilight at Regal Cinemas in Garden Grove as her early birthday present from me.

IMO, the movie was well worth the wait! I’m an avid reader and fan of Stephanie Meyer’s vampiric love story between Edward and Bella so I may be a bit biased. Ok, maybe a lot biased because I also love Robert Pattinson. I felt that he most definitely delivered his portrayal of Edward Cullen as the reluctant and tortured vampire. Kristin Stewart did exceptionally well with her portrayal of the Bella Swan and looked exactly as I had pictured her. As well as the rest of the cast who were very well chosen. My fave part of the movie was the intense kissing scene between Edward and Bella, minus the over done withdrawal from Edward. :) Regardless, their passionate kiss still took my breathe away.

I understand that it’s quite impossible to fit 500 pages into a 2-hour time-frame and expected a few differences with the movie but I hated that they rushed through Edward and Bella’s romance. If I hadn’t read the book, I would’nt have felt the chemistry of their relationship. And where was Alice? I felt they sold us short on Bella’s friendship with her. Also, most of the scenes throughout were too choppy and didn’t flow very well with each other. Other than those few key elements, Catherine Hardwicke stayed true to the book, as was capable of course.

Kimmie’s opinion? She liked the movie, even though she had not read the book. She claimed that the beginning was slightly boring. She had little interest in the movie until the action sequences. She didn’t understand Edward and Bella’s romance, the Cullen family and the Quileutes. Her fave scene was when Edward saved Bella from the near accident with his hand.

She liked the movie enough to actually start reading the Twilight book — her birthday present from me — and is now hooked! Nevermind the fact that she barely had enough free time before to do much else as a mommy of one, a part-time student and a full-time employee. Kimmie finished the book and has suggested watching the movie again! And I’m not one to object!

We sunk our teeth into this film adaptation and left feeling eager for the next movie! Which Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of it’s filmed franchise TWILIGHT!

Twilight Movie Review #2

Happy Thanksgiving!

On Sunday, we saw Twilight for the 2nd time and it was much better! I’m glad that I went again because I was less critical (kept comparing it to the book, thus catching too many flaws) this time around and actually allowed myself to accept the movie for what it was. That and also a larger theater screen and sitting in the middle might have helped too. This time, I actually saw the ‘dazzle’ moment and felt dazzled along with Bella. Which is the reason why I’m going again, I loved it! Tracey and Stink still hasn’t seen it so I’m going to drag them with me, they love Edward too so I’m sure they won’t object. Yippee! Err…what do I want for Christmas? Anything Twilight please (minus the forbidden fruit t-shirt, calendar and soundtrack ‘cuz I already have those). Phungus (not a Twilight reader, yet) says I’m so lame. Tehehe.
